Our Approach

Project Permitting of Texas works with property owners, developers, and design teams to expedite the permitting process. Melissa and her team will ensure that all documents needed for submission are gathered, reviewed for accuracy, and properly submitted to the appropriate agency. From that point, they will diligently track every submission and keep you up-to-date at every juncture.

Our Story

PPTX has worked on various size commercial projects throughout the State of Texas to include hotels, multi family units, hospitals, service restaurants, mixed use retail, and large commercial development properties.

Melissa, along with her team worked on their first charity event hosted by PPTX. Through their hard work, sponsorships and volunteers 10k was raised for a family.

PPTX is an active member for South Texas Partnership, Serving in committees that help in the partnership and growth of all business. Being members of SoTX , Hispanic Chamber of San Antonio and United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce gives an opportunity for knowledge of changes and infrastructure developments upcoming and ongoing.

Melissa Gonzales, ICC PT

Owner

Melissa Gonzales, owner and founder of Project Permitting of Texas is a San Antonio native. She is a graduate of McCollum high school and a proud alumni of Our Lady of the Lake, earning a Bachelors degree in Public Relations and International Studies.

First beginning her journey in the permitting world working at the City of San Antonio Development Center. Having worked there then with a fire protection engineer she took that knowledge, and a leap of faith to open up her business in September 2016. With each year growing where her services were provided. Beginning as a one women ran operations to now having three full time employees and two interns, PPTX not only operates in San Antonio, but across Texas.

Melissa loves to spend quality time with her husband, Jerry traveling and visiting historic sites. Along with her husband they are proud parents of a blended family. Together they spend time with young adult children, Allen, Jessica, Matthew and Jacob their families and friends.

You will find their two fur babies Orion and Lilly by their side when exploring new beer gardens, dog parks or long drives.

My name is India Williams. I’m 29 years old and currently a student at Texas A&M University studying communication. I’m from San Antonio, Texas. I grew up in a military household so I love to travel around the world. My favorite country that I have visited was Thailand. I hope to apply my skills and knowledge learnt into the real world and to play a part in impactful, meaningful projects.

Michelle comes to us from the Chamber world and is new to the construction side. Her organizational skills and rapid response when there are time sensitive projects make her a great asset to the team.

Hello everyone I am Gabby. I am the Social Media Coordinator of Project Permitting of Texas. I am currently a senior at Texas A&M University-San Antonio graduating in December. I look forward to helping Project Permitting expand to its fullest potential through the eyes of social media and making sure everyone knows how proud I am to intern here. I am usually behind the camera, if you don't see me in the photos!

Hello everyone, I am Amayah. I am a licensed cosmetologist wanting to know what it's like to own a business and all that comes with one. My role at PPTX is to assist in research and assist the team in tasks needed. I am currently employed at Salon Razor and I am attending Palo Alto college obtaining my associates in business administration.

Jay Garcia

Chief Operating Administrator

Having come from 10 years in the Nursing field, my caring and strong organization skills helps keep the office on task everyday. My commitment in and out of the office reflects my drive for this industry. Making sure our office has the necessary items to keep them on task is something I strive for everyday.

I am a Mom of three young adults, have two grandchildren and two daughters in law, family means the world to me.

Dani Trevino

Special Assignment Contractor

Dani Trevino has just completed her Masters in Forensic Biology from Stevenson University Online. She has worked with Project Permitting since 2021 Full time, while attending her Masters program. In June she will be graduating after a eight-month program, with SoTX LEAD South. Participants are exposed to a wide array of venues, knowledgeable speakers, and educational tours. Participants develop greater personal leadership skills to use and take back to their places of employment and throughout the community.

Although she is taking a Summer break to travel, pursue her Professional career, she will be assisting at times on projects, events and training our new staff.
